We have been working in the back yard recently. I have been re-potting all of my plants and have added some new ones as well.

Kaden loves animals. So we went to the zoo to see the animals we read about. She had a great time and did all of us. The only thing it was sooooooooooo hot. We will go back in November or December when it is not as hot so we can see the animals we missed.

Kaden Update

Kaden has grown so much recently. She is talking like crazy. She loves to listen to music and dance. She has 4 more teeth coming in. She has given her brother the nickname, Teo. She calls him all the time, it is so cute.

Mateo Update

Mateo is in need of a hair cut. This is one day after he woke up from his nap.

Mateo's first boo boo. Mateo was trying to stand up and hit his head on the dresser. Good thing he is a tough guy.

Mateo is doing well. He finally has 2 teeth coming in on the bottom. He can pull himself to standing. He can crawl but usually doesn't. He prefers to be standing. He is talking a lot. He and Kaden love to play together now. It is so cute to watch them laughing together.

Kaden's School Picture 2009

Kaden's School Picture turned out really nice. She looks like a little girl now. Mateo cried each time we tried to take his picture. Next year hopefully he will cooperate so we can get a picture of the kids together.

Kaden Update

Kaden will not eat her banana if I do not give it to her whole and peeled. Kaden is such a diva.

She knows she is cute with her sun glasses.

Kaden is saying so many new words. She understands French, Spanish, and English and can speak in each language. She thinks she is a grown up. She is now taking interset in using the potty. We got her one and she will say pee-pee and just sit on it but has not used the potty yet.

Mateo Update

Mateo can sit up on his own but he is very picky about when he will do it.
He has started eating biscuits and man does he love it.

He is trying his best to crawl. He gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. We know so enough he will mobile so enough.

Mateo is doing well and getting big. He and Kaden wear the same size diaper. This is hard to believe. He talks a lot and is a very happy baby.

Mateo: 6 month check up

Before we went on vacation, Mateo had his 6 month check up.

Weight: 18 pounds 4 ounces

Height: 26.5 inches

Mateo is almost sitting up now, however, he seems more interested in standing than anything. He is able to scoot backward on his stomach or back. Mateo still doesn't sleep through the night. For the past couple of weeks Mateo is getting up between 2:30 and 3:30. He eats and then plays for close to an hour and then will want to eat again and sleep. I have tried to let him cry himself to sleep and I tried giving him filling food before bed and nothing is working. Please let me know if any one has suggestions.
